Initial residence and work authorization for highly qualified professionals (PAC)

Who can request it?

Non-European citizens with higher degrees whose future employer in Spain meets the necessary requirements.

What requirements must the company meet?

The current national employment situation must allow recruitment for the planned position. The employer must present a contract signed by both the employer and the employee that guarantees continued activity for the worker during the validity period of their authorization to reside and work. The salary to be received by the worker must be greater than 45,000 euros per year.

How long does this procedure take?

This procedure is quickly resolved: in less than 45 days we will know if your request is approved. From then on, we will apply for a visa at the Spanish consulate in your constituency, which will take a maximum of one month.
