Renewal of the residence and work authorization for highly qualified workers (PAC)

Who can request it?

Those non-European citizens with higher qualifications and with a residence and work authorization for Highly Qualified Workers (PAC) can request it.

What requirements must the company and the employee meet?

For the renewal of your authorization as a Highly Qualified Worker, you must prove that the conditions that gave rise to the initial authorization are maintained. We may request renewal during the 60 calendar days prior to the expiration date of the initial authorization or within 90 calendar days after the date on which the authorization would have expired.

How long does this procedure take?

The maximum term for resolution is 3 months, although it can be resolved much quicker.
